"ROWDY & PROUD", Saturday 5th July from 8pm
Thirteen & Chateau Denmark present: ROWDY & PROUD
Honouring our neighbourhood’s bold and spirited community, Rowdy is back for a fourth outing. Harnessing unbridled creativity and a promise for dramatic flair, this edition features scarlet diva extraordinaire - Marnie Scarlet, drag queen sideshow nut and Lizard Lady - Lolo Brow. In addition the highly acclaimed hand balancer and circus performer - Aaron Marshall, alongside the cheeky, the charming and the oozing with charisma - Miss Giddy Heights. Finally the crowd dazzler and three time Guinness World Record holder - international hula performer, Amazi.
Hosted and emceed by Lolo, this edition of Rowdy promises the trademarked raucous entertainment, but fuller, fast and louder than perhaps ever before. All set to the beat of Rowdy house DJ Jamie Moon.
The line up is all star, each having collaborated and performed from dinner parties to clubs, theatres and cultural highlights the world over. From HBO’s Game of Thrones to KitKat Club in Berlin and nearer to home they’ve headlined Underbelly’s Spiegeltent in Leicester Square and even ‘The Gang Show’ for The Teenage Cancer Trust, alongside Daphne Guinness and performed from Glastonbury to UK Black Pride. From Marnie’s heart stealing performance to Lolo’s lascivious lauding on the mic and showstopping performances. Aaron captivates audiences through seamless transitions and artistic flair – an exhibition of strength, precision, and elegance, he’s enthralled audiences, everywhere. Time Out called her “An international burlesque dynamo, who can shimmy from elegant to debauched at the drop of a feather fan”, but you can call her Miss Giddy Heights. And then there’s the three times Guinness World Record holding hula-hooper - Amazi, drawing from her West African roots, her vibrant costumes and performance style have left audiences enthralled the world over.
